CHIPBOARD PANELS - MFP
Chipboard panels – made from ecologically-sourced, solid wood-like materials – are mainly used in timber frame construction and building renovations. The panels are laid across the standardly-spaced joists, which are set 400 or 600mm apart. Aluminum panels with milled channels are mounted on top, and underfloor heating pipes are installed in them to help distribute heat evenly across the surface.
The advantage of the dry system using chipboard panels is its low height – the panels themselves are only 22mm thick – and it is suitable for 16mm diameter pipes.
